The Piaggio Medley Special Edition 125 ABS is powered by a four-valve, liquid-cooled single cylinder i-get (Italian Green Experience Technology) 124.7 cc engine with electronic injection. It complies with Euro 4 emission standards.
It also comes with Stop-Start which means it automatically turns off when the scooter has been stationary for 3-7 seconds. To restart, you just need the lightest twist on the throttle and the single cylinder smoothly and silently restarts.
Comprehensive instrument panel
The centre of the front shield of the Piaggio Medley Special Edition 125 ABS proudly bears the distinctive design element which is a feature of every Piaggio scooter. The handlebar hosts a trio of analogue instruments alongside an LCD display which offers a comprehensive set of information all managed via a click of the Mode button: total and trip speedometer, external temperature, service symbol, clock, battery status and ice warning.
Style and functionality
The seat of the Piaggio Medley Special Edition 125 ABS offers plenty of room for both the driver and a passenger and can be opened by an electronic remote whilst the handy glove box is opened by mechanical means.
The rear shield design coordinates with the inner side of the handlebar and the seat to recreate a look and feel similar to that of a car dashboard zone.
Even more appealing
The Piaggio Medley Special Edition 125 ABS is the grittiest version of the Italian high wheel family and comes in the special colour of titanium grey . Its sporty nature is reinforced by its glossy black wheel rims and key elements in black such as the luggage rack together with its graphic elements which alternate electric blue and carbon look detailing.
The seat, with its blue stitching, conceals a spacious compartment able to hold two full-face helmets whilst a bag hook and second storage space (with USB socket) can be found in the rear shield.
The Special Edition delivers the same impeccable performance as the rest of the family with features such as Start-Stop which automatically shuts off the engine when the car stops at traffic lights, and then restarts smoothly and silently with a twist of the accelerator.
Naturally, safety is paramount as reflected in the dual-channel ABS anti-lock with discs of 260 and 240 mm and large-diameter tyres of 16” and 14”.
