FUEL
Piaggio, Vespa and Gilera scooters use unleaded petrol, with a minimum of 95-octane. For pre-1992 models we recommend that you consult the vehicle manual or consult your nearest dealer.

TECHNICAL MODIFICATIONS TO ENGINE OR PARTS
The Piaggio company does not provide any information as to how you can modify any components of any of their scooters.We wish to advise our clients that any modifications made to vehicles manufactured by Piaggio could result in legal, insurance or administrative consequences. Furthermore, the Piaggio warranty becomes void if any modification is made to a Piaggio vehicle.

The technical characteristics of each model currently on the market can be found on the page dedicated to that model.
SERVICING
Services can be carried out by all Piaggio, Vespa and Gilera dealerships or by authorised service centres. The frequency can be found in the log book. Costs depend on the price of any parts and labour in the service centre used. Find your nearest service centre.
TECHNICAL CONFORMITY SHEET
This document contains all the essential information relating to the vehicle (motor, chassis, etc) and must be presented during vehicle inspections. Attached to the certificate of origin, it is a mandatory document and required for issuing a log book. For vehicles manufactured before 1 January 2001 it substitutes the Certificate of Conformity.
DECLARATION
The declaration certifies specific data (eg verification of motor number). It authorises an action such as, for example, the installation of different tyres than those originally provided and listed on the technical conformity sheet.
