This collaboration is particularly effective when driving in the city and accelerating from standstill, during which the scooter delivers maximum responsive performance in the first few meters.

In the wake of Piaggio's strong tradition in innovation applied to environmentally sustainable transport, which makes the Group a world leader in its field, Piaggio has produced Liberty E-mail, the company's first electric scooter designed to be used for delivery services by local authorities, public bodies and private companies.
The Power and Eco driving modes, characterized by different power output and speed values with the same torque, represent the most effective response to varying mobility needs: the Power mode ensures maximum performance, while the Eco mode provides maximum autonomy.

The first scooter in the world aimed at Business customers, offered with parallel hybrid drive and plug-in technology: a new and highly advanced engine concept that combines an electric motor with an internal combustion engine with low environmental impact.
The synergy between the two motors improves performance while reducing fuel consumption (with a fuel economy of up to 60 km/l) and CO2 emissions, down to just 40g/km with a 65% hybrid and 35% electric use. In "electric only" mode, the Mp3 Hy-mail can access restricted traffic and "zero emission" zones.
Moreover, the vehicle is fitted with an integrated battery charger, and can easily be recharged in all conditions, using both a household mains socket and public column network supplies.
